Difference between a cemetery and a graveyard:
A cemetery is a burial ground whereas graveyard is a burial ground in a churchyard. Thus, the main difference between cemetery and graveyard is their location. For simplicity, all titles use the word cemetery. Those known to be graveyards are listed on the left.
Below are the links to the cemeteries in Grundy County, as well as some additional information about those cemeteries. If you do not see the cemetery linked to a page, I do not have any additional information. Please note that most of the County cemeteries are only partially transcribed. If you do not see your ancestors listed on the pages, you can submit the information for addition to that cemetery.
Where are these cemeteries? An old resource recently found on line, Locations of Cemeteries in Grundy County.
NOTE:None of the cemeteries have been updated to the new design ... and given the large number it will be, oh heck ... Truthfully, I doubt I will ever get to them. ~ Lynda Peach.
