Looking for any information about a Jeremiah YOUNG, and wife Melissa, who
were buying and selling land between 1853 and 1857 in Grundy Co. MO. They
do not show up in 1850 or 1860 census, but believe there may be a
connection to my ancestor, Nancy Annis YOUNG, who married in Grundy Co.
MO in 1853, to William ELLIS. I also do not know where William & Nancy
Annis (Young) ELLIS are located in 1860. By the dates and birthplaces of
their children, they remained in the state of Missouri, and return to
Mercer Co. MO by 1870. Any help out there?

I am looking for information on my 3rd great grandparents, Samie BENNER and
Sarah BOOHER.
Samie moved to Grundy Co. Missouri from somewhere in Pennsylvania. He was a
tailor by trade. Family history says he and a brother came to this country
from Germany at an early age. I would like to find out the brother's name,
who their parents were, and where they came from in Germany.
Also, I would like to find out more about Sarah and her families. In 1843 Samie married Sarah. They had four children - John Henry, b. 1844, m. 1865 to Nancy Elizabeth WILKINSON, Eliza Jane b. 1845, m. Mark TRUSSELL 1866, Frances Elizabeth b. 1847, m. William CROCKETT, and Sammie b. 1850, m. Amanda ETHERTON in 1872. They had two daughters. All were born in or near Spickard. Son, Sammie was a grocer in Spickard. In 1902 he was burned to death while lighting a hanging kerosine lamp in his store. Is it possible there is a news paper article about his death or obituary notice available?
Sometime after Samie the (father ) died, Sarah remarried to a man named BARNES, and they had children. Who were Sarah's parents, where did they come from and where is she buried?
John Henry, William CROCKETT, and Mark TRUSSELL were all in the Civil War, 23rd Regiment, Missouri Volunteer Infantry, Co. C.
About 1860 John Henry moved his family to Ava, Douglas Co. Missouri, and in 1909 they moved on to Oklahoma. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

CHUMBLEY. Nancy Jane died May 26, 1951 in Numa, Wayne Co., IA. She was
preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth (EMBRY) Todd. Nancy Jane is
my great grandmother. My great grandparents had four children: Roy EMBRY
of Pasadena,CA; Harry EMBRY of Trenton, MO; Edna LIGGETT (my grandmother)
