Searching for descendants of Willam Williams WITTEN (b. 4 Jun 1780, Tazewell, Co., VA; d. 17 Dec 1868, Grundy Co., MO) and his brother James Stanley WITTEN (b. 24 Jan 1798, Tazewell Co., VA; d. 18 Oct 1861 Edesburg, MO). Looking for information on JAMES HARVEY GRIFFIN (b. 1865), JOHN FRANKLIN GRIFFIN (b. 1867), CAMPBELL (CAMEL) GRIFFIN & WILLIAM WALTER & RODA MALINDA (SNODGRASS) HAYES (m. 21 Oct 1871, Grndy Co.). The GRIFFIN'S moved from Pulaski Co., KY to Grundy Co., MO sometime between 1870 and 1890. I know JOHN FRANKLIN married twice in the county, the second time to MARY REBEKA HAYES on 16 September 1894. Need info on JAMES HARVEY...marriage, children, etc; WILLIAM WALTER HAYES...birth, parents, etc. Will exchange info on John Franklin's line. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am looking for information on the parents of Cora Belle CHASE, my great grandmother. She married my grandfather Jacob Vernon CRAIG. They are both buried at Coon Creek Cemetery. They had a farm not to far from the Church which is still owned by their grandchildren. They had 6 children, Verna (my grandmother) who married Hugh GOTT, an infant son, Viola Edith, Grace, Leota (Lee), and Forrest (Buck).
Cora Belle's fathers name was Salman P. CHASE. Cora's bothers and sisters were Jim, Samuel, Alvia, Lila, Grace, Jack and Marie (who was kidnapped and taken to California). I have been told that they moved to Meade Kansas.
