Also, I would like to find out more about Sarah and her families. In 1843
Samie married Sarah. They had four children - John Henry, b. 1844, m. 1865 to
Nancy Elizabeth WILKINSON, Eliza Jane b. 1845, m. Mark TRUSSELL 1866,
Frances Elizabeth b. 1847, m. William CROCKETT, and Sammie b. 1850, m.
Amanda ETHERTON in 1872. They had two daughters. All were born in or near
Spickard. Son, Sammie was a grocer in Spickard. In 1902 he was burned to
death while lighting a hanging kerosine lamp in his store. Is it possible
there is a news paper article about his death or obituary notice available?
Sometime after Samie the (father ) died, Sarah remarried to a man named
BARNES, and they had children. Who were Sarah's parents, where did they come
from and where is she buried?
John Henry, William CROCKETT, and Mark TRUSSELL were all in the Civil War,
23rd Regiment, Missouri Volunteer Infantry, Co. C.
About 1860 John Henry moved his family to Ava, Douglas Co. Missouri, and in
1909 they moved on to Oklahoma. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

believe lived in Grundy County, Mo. with George and Elizabeth Frost
PASCHAL. James is said to have died in Grundy Co. in Feb. 1899 and is said
to be buried in Grundy Center Cemetery. I have evidence that the PASCHALs
moved to Louisiana, Mo. by 1909 or 1910. I would appreciate any

daughter of Charles Warren Marlin and Sarah Esther Prothero also Grundy Co

LEWIS, DAVIS,HATFIELD and more families connected to this COLE.
I am trying to find Information on John DAVIS and Lucinda
TEEGARDEN who lived in Laredo, Wilson township and Marion township. They had 6 children. Some Lived in Trenton in later years to 1940's. All living in the Grundy

The DAVIDSONS moved from Mercer County, Virginia, to Grundy County circa
1852-1855. Combined 1850/1860 census records identify the known children
as the following:
Family correspondence in 1923 from Milton
H. DAVIDSON of Abingdon, Virginia, indicates the DAVIDSONS had a
daughter May/Mary, who married a Mr. SOUTHWICK and lived in New Cambria,
Macon County, Missouri. Although I have access to the 1870 Missouri
Census (but no Soundex), the Grundy County portion is difficult to read.
I will appreciate any help with this family, including cemetery records,
and would like to correspond with descendants. Thanks!

Looking for any information about a Jeremiah YOUNG, and wife Melissa, who
were buying and selling land between 1853 and 1857 in Grundy Co. MO. They
do not show up in 1850 or 1860 census, but believe there may be a
connection to my ancestor, Nancy Annis YOUNG, who married in Grundy Co.
MO in 1853, to William ELLIS. I also do not know where William & Nancy
Annis (Young) ELLIS are located in 1860. By the dates and birthplaces of
their children, they remained in the state of Missouri, and return to
Mercer Co. MO by 1870. Any help out there?

I am looking for information on George KNIGHT, born 1820 Maine, and Samuel KNIGHT born 1803 Maine; both settled in Grundy Co., MO. Both these brothers were living in Grundy County in 1850.
I am looking for information on my 3rd great grandparents, Samie BENNER and
Sarah BOOHER.
Samie moved to Grundy Co. Missouri from somewhere in Pennsylvania. He was a
tailor by trade. Family history says he and a brother came to this country
from Germany at an early age. I would like to find out the brother's name,
who their parents were, and where they came from in Germany.
