Name: Donald H. Lee After Hiram LEE died, Julia, Allen LEE and siblings moved to the town of Hiram, Portage Co., Ohio about 1834. In 1848 Allen LEE married Marinda E. RYDER b. 1826, they had three children, Edwin A.LEE, b.1848, Jason H.LEE, b.1851 and Frank W.LEE, b. 1853, all born in Hiram Ohio. About 1864 Allen LEE and his family moved to Trenton, Grundy Co.,Mo.

Any info on these people or their families would be greatly appreciated. Charles and Catherine were known to have lived in Grundy Co. MO during the 1880 and 1900 census. Both are buried in Grundy Co. MO. Census records indicate that Charles' parents were born in OH and PA.

My Grandfather was born in Dunlap Missouri in Liberty Twp...his name was Howard Edward DENNIS, born 02-15-1893, the son of John R. and Sarah BECRAFT DENNIS. His mother died at age 37 yrs and is buried in the Stepp Cemetery along with 2 sisters and a brother. John R. Ref the past query that I had inserted in the Grundy Gleanings and also that is presently shown on the net re Driscolls, Titsworth and Baker. I have found out that the Titsworth is incorrect. Rachel was a Gentry, daughter of Belithe or Belitha and Martha Sandlin. She first married a James Baker and they had William Lewis Baker. James then died and Rachel married a George Kassie and they had Mahalia who later married Hendly Chapman Smith. What happened to George Kassie? Rachel then presumably married D.C. or Dennis Clark Driscoll and they had twins: David A. and James Albert Driscoll November 27, 1879. 1880 Census in the Trenton Library lists David and James as being six months old. What happened to David Driscoll? What happened to Rachel Baker Kassie Driscoll nee Gentry? I found no record of her death in Grundy County, nor of David. James Driscoll was my grandfather.

Martha Margaret Shields Gum, lived east of Spickard MO for some years, and, I believe, farmed. As did my grandfather/grandmother, Ira Alonzo Gum and
Martha Tillery Gum. W.J. Gum was a Civil War veteran. Martha Margaret Shields Gum died 12/28/1911, in Grundy County; W.J. died 06/10/1925 or l926. W.J. is storied to have died in Quincy, Ill and buried in the Old Soldiers Home; they claim there is no record of him there.
